This was (and still is) a passion project that came from the insight that women are all too often not in control of their smiles. Society places sexist expectations on women that force them to smile to diffuse tension, be polite even when they're mad, and a million more scenarios women experience each day. But really, the only smile that the world should be asking for is our real smiles.
